FAQ
Do you only make custom themes?
I also work with premade themes if you're just starting out or have a lower budget. While there are some major benefits to a custom theme, we can accomplish a lot of goals - including growing your business - with a simple premade theme.
How long does a custom theme take?
A custom theme is built in two major phases: 1) The Design Phase, 2) The Development Phase. Both phases generally take about 4-6 weeks each. The design phase requires the most input from the client. The development of the site is primarily on us to create, while providing you with updates along the way.
Need something faster? Or don't need a custom theme yet? We can utilize premade themes that, with a few customizations, can meet your website goals quickly.
Can you work white‑label under our brand?
Yes! We partner with agencies under their own brand, offering flexible white-label support. For more information, see our Agency page.
Do you migrate from page builders?
Absolutely. Page builders can be helpful when you’re just starting out, but if you’re ready to take things to the next level, we can move your site to an ACF-based builder. This approach makes it much easier to update text and images while giving you a more stable design structure that’s harder to accidentally break.
Do you handle performance and accessibility?
I handle site performance as part of the site build. While I do code from-scratch sites with accessibility in mind, I do not certify accessibility. If a certification is required, I can provide a recommendation for a company if needed and support for the process.

But after the celebration winds down, I provide an hour of training on how to do updates on the site including text/images, adding blog posts, events, etc.
Depending on your company's needs, I provide regular retainer options for ongoing updates or additional work. If the website is more static, I do recommend at least a Health Check quarterly to make sure your site is up-to-date, working, and secure.
How do retainers work?
All retainer packages include plugin updates, WordPress core updates, security review, backups, and ongoing support for any website related items. In addition, each package comes with a specific number of hours included.
